Together, we are Parents in Hospitality.

In the summer of 2019, with their first children in tow, two hospitality friends decided that enough was enough. raising a young child, with their other half working long hours and weekends; finding solace, support and understanding of their circumstances from their fellow hospitality friends, rather than at regular baby and toddler groups, they launched the first ‘Parents in Hospitality’ meet-up.

Emboldened by the terrific response and the similar narratives from the other parents at that meet-up, Emily and Merly concluded that Parents in Hospo was here to stay.

Several years, a pandemic, own businesses and two other children later, Emily and Merly have been joined by a dad-in-hospitality, Brendan. together, they continue to run the Parents in Hospitality community, hosting meet-ups, providing opportunities to network and the support for other parents in our hospitality industry.
